Construction Reports. Characteristics of New One-Family Homes 1971

This report on the characteristics of new one·family homes in 1971 covers homes sold and contractor-built, owner·built, and rental homes started. For the first time, this report also covers characteristics of new one·family homes completed during the year. It is part of the joint Bureau of the Census, Social and Economic Statistics Administration (SESA), U.S. Department of Commerce·U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development study on housing sales which was started in 1962. This is the ninth annual report prepared for this program.
