Home Check List
This historic pamphlet advertises the FHA’s Better Housing program and provides a series of checklists for homeowners to catalog desired improvements to their properties. The program, authorized by Title I of the National Housing Act of 1935, allowed homeowners to borrow sums of money for home repairs or improvement from local financial institutions, merchants, or contractors. The FHA insured the loans in the event of default.
